VERDON NE SILKY Keratin Hair Spa (Aloe Vera) Review

Blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron and hair coloring can make our hair looks great, but it can also make our hair damage. I am guilty! I murdered my hair. I just recently dyed my hair and it made my hair super dry and frizzy. I checked online for cheap yet effective hair treatment and I found this “VERDON NE SILKY” Keratin Hair Spa (Aloe Vera). I am not sure but i think there are 6 choices of it… Coconut Milk, Papaya Juices, Brown Rice Organic, Aloe Vera (Which I have), Pomegranate and Milk Essence.

At the back it claims to repair damaged hair. The aloe vera plant is constructed with the basic building blocks of like, including essential vitamins and minerals, proteins, polysaccharrides, enzymes and amino acids. The natural vitamins and protein from aloe vera give strength to hair and scalp. Protect the hair loss and full supply the aloe juice to makes hair more healthy.

Usage: Apply a small amount of shampoo on wet hair spread evenly. Massage gently and rise. Repeat with a second application as required and rinse thoroughly.

I got confused after reading that too. Haha. Well, what i did was i shampoo my hair and used it as a conditioner then i covered my hair with shower cap and leave it for 10-15 minutes then rinse. I air dry it.

And ohhh… About the scent, it smells good but not that strong. The texture is not sticky it’s so malabnaw unlike the other hair spa i tried so it’s really easy to rinse.

I noticed that my hair got smoother and softer.

Actually no major result happen and I’m not expecting too coz it’s just my first try but it really makes my hair smoother and 30% less frizzy plus it makes my hair shiny.  I’m happy with the result i will continue using this hair spa and I am recommending this to you lovelies. BYS Blusher Candy Floss Review

Hello Ladies, back with another post :”> What I’m going to review is a BYS (Be Your Self) blusher in a shade of candy floss. This cost P165 ($3.95) and can be purchased from any SM Department store. This is the only blusher I have.

Packaging: This blusher come in simple square black packaging, which looks quite cheap . Very similar to Nyx packaging. They have a clear window on the top and then a flip top lid.  I really like it because it is simple and does not take up lots of room in my pouch. The bottom of the blusher locates the name of the shade, barcode, packaging details and the ingredient list.

Swatch. Candy floss is a muted light pink with a little bit of shimmer but in no means glittery (Like what I’ve said in my previous post, I don’t like glittery cosmetics).  This blusher is incredibly creamy and easy to blend. This would work amazingly, I love this blush for my everyday use as it provides color to the cheeks but is not too overpowering and it will go with any eye and lip look.

Repurchase? 

YES. I will definitely buy this again. I also want to try the coral.

Overall. I think these blushes are amazing and definitely worth the cheap price. it just goes to show you shouldn’t judge a product by its price tag.  I have and would recommend them to anyone which is after an affordable blush. I will rate this product into 98/100.

Hayan Korea – Artistic Crystal Eyeshadow E506 Review

Hi Ladies! This is my first post of eyeshadow review and also this is my first Hayan Korea product. I really want to have the other Hayan Korea items but I don’t have time to go in SM San Pablo coz I’m busy with my work and SM San Pablo is the only branch I know near in my area.

Okay, What I am going to review is this eyeshadow from Hayan Korea. It’s  ”Artistic Crystal Eyeshadow” and this line has 11 shades to choose from. This single eyeshadow cost – Intro Price: P98 Original Price: P130 (they are having an introductory price promo so take advantage! ), very affordable right? The cheapest eyeshadow that comes from Korea. I got mine as a Prize from Stella Jessebele’s Giveaway.

Packaging. The packaging comes in a small black box, looks very sleek.

It looks very simple, a single eyeshadow without mirror. The good thing about their packaging is you have a great view on what’s the shade without opening it, you don’t need to look at the bottom for the name.  

Swatch. The color is actually shimmery white. Good for making the eyes bright. It’s not chalky but a bit messy because of the glitter particles which I hate when it comes to eyeshadow. This is really good for night makeup like Prom, pageant or date. 🙂

Repurchase?

Since it is from a giveaway prize, the question is will I purchase it? For this shade, NO. I’m not into glittery, sparkling cosmetics specially in eyeshadow and lipgloss but for the other shades, YES. I want to try the E508 and E501.

Overall. I love the packaging and it’s affordable but I don’t like the glitter particles of it, it’s kinda mess on my eyes. Maybe I will give a try to the other shades like I’ve said above. I will rate this product into 40/100.

Holika Holika Pure Mellow Tint 03 Coral Review

I am going to review the Holika Holika Pure Mellow Tint Coral. I’ve got this from Purple Cow’s Attic Giveaway hosted by Ms. Celine Reyes. 🙂

Price: $8 (300+php)

Packaging: 

It has cute packaging, I love it because it is Pink and the sliver stripe gives an elegant look with it. It has doe-foot applicator.  It is Korean product. Personally Korean cosmetics is one of the best cosmetic I’ve know so far.

It is a nice product and it is kind of watery or like jelly, it’s actually same as L’Oreal Crust Shine Stain. It has a nice long lasting effect but it’s not overly pigmented.  It smell and taste like a sweet candy that I want to eat it. lol

Ease of Use.

Applying is simple. The slanted doe-foot applicator lets you get precise application.

Repurchase?

Since it’s from a giveaway prize, the question is will I purchase it ? Definitely Yes, I will buy it if ever I went to a mall with a Holika Holika stall. Actually I want to collect them all.

Overall.

Overall I am very much loving this Moisturizer Tint. Compared to other department store brands, the price is reasonable, especially considering it works so well. I will rate this product into 90/100.

REVIEW: Nivea Aqua Effect Mattifying Toner

Hello folks! This is my second product review and I’m so excited to share with you my experience on this Nivea Aqua Effect Mattifying Toner.  I’ve been using this toner for almost 1/2 months. I took a photo of it a month ago after I purchased it so as you can see the bottle is still full.  I bought this toner at watson. Actually my choices that day were l’oreal revitalift toner, neutrogena tone repair and this Nivea Aqua Effect Mattifying Toner. I choose this because it’s the cheapest among the rest. Funny but it’s true. I’m saving money for my BB cream 🙂

Okay let’s start.

Product Description: Toner deeply and mattifies for pure and shine reduce skin.Tones the skin deeply and removes residues. Reduces excess sebum and oil to control shine with it’s mattifying formula. Maintains the natural moisture balance of the skin and revitalizes with it’s formula that contains Ocean Algae and Hydra IQ. Ideal for dry and oily skin.

Nivea Aqua Effect Mattifying Toner contained in a light green plastic bottle and the top is covered by a white flip flop cap.

The list of claims, ingredients and manufacturing details is in the back of the bottle.  I love the smell of this toner. When I applied it on my skin it gives me that refreshing and clean feeling.  It also dried quickly and doesn’t sting. Since I am oily skinned I am constantly on the lookout for oil free and oil control products. If you have oily skin and you find oily skin toners too harsh, I recommend this!

After using this toner it made my skin smoother and radiant. BUT it didn’t remove my pimple scars. It is however really moisturising and works just fine.  I really envy Korean for having a smooth, no pores and white skin.

Kiss My Style

Hi Ladies! Today I’m going to share with you some of my lipstick collections. I love lipstick. Clearly. Some of my lipstick are not that expensive and it is fit for those students who love LIPSTICK.

Here ya go!

Paintbox color sheen lip gloss (pearl Pink). I purchased this at Bench for only 250php. What I love about this is it’s PINK. Yeah! I’m obsessed with pink. I’m not a fan of glossy things but this one is pretty cool. It last long and it taste sweet. XD

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm–Pink Lolita.It’s a pretty rosy pink that just about shows up on the lips a few minutes after application and gives a pretty rosy tint. I find it very natural and pretty.  Although I think being a balm, this shade is not pigmented enough to show up on pigmented lips or those with dusky tones. I have to swipe it on my lips a couple of times for the tint to show up. But I am not complaining since I bought a lip balm and not a lipstick. The packaging is absolutely perfect and girly! LOVE IT! I purchased this on watson for only 150php

Benefit Silky-Finish Lipstick (Sheen Sugarplum) . This lipstick is very creamy and watery, it has a sheen that’s neither matte nor glossy. I find the texture to be very similiar to the Maybelline Water Shiny Volumy. It’s one of my favorite coz it last long. I purchased this at LookFantastic.com for only 1398php.

NYX Lss 643 FEMME. Great colour. It is not just orange. It is more of an orangey coral red. I love this colour though and it is not too hard to wear. I mean, I can’t work red lipsticks, but I have heard about certain reviews saying that they really could not work this colour. So I wouldn’t say it’s easily wearable either. I would wear this one with neutral eye make up. Creamy in texture.  I have to say that red lipsticks do not suit me but this one looks so cute on. I purchased this at My Favorite Store for only 200php.

NYX LSS 595 Strawberry Milk.  A pale matte pink which is blue based. It doesn’t looks shimmery on my lips but it does have a little shimmer. It is a great lipstick to tone down brighter lipsticks or to pinky-up a boring lipstick. I find this shade difficult to wear on its own. When you rub your lips together, the application becomes sort of horrible looking.I don’t use it that often but it really is the perfect shade to give brighter colours that better pop. – I suggest this colour for that reason – a sort of lipstick transformer. Or rather – lipstick highlight. I also buy this at My Favorite Store for only 200php.

Excel Paris Matte Lip Cream.   I came across this matte lip cream. I heard this is a dupe of NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream. I got two shades, the dark fuchsia pink (507) and the peachy pink (510). The shade looks very nice. It doesn’t look O.A. Love the shade so much. It also blends well with lip balm on top. Here’s a tip: Put adequate amount of lip balm before putting the lip cream, then apply 4 little dots of lip cream on both your upper and lower lip, then add lip balm again on top, then using the tip of your finger or a lipstick brush, blend then well and you’ll have a natural looking pink lips. I purchased this in an online store on Facebook  “Siblings Corners” for only 250php each.

Mac Frost Lipstick Rouge (Royal Azalea).  Light bubble gum pink, bright, creamy, soft, nice color payoff (yet sheer), high shine This shade can easily be worn during the day and into night. This lipstick could come out a little too pastel on a darker complexion and may not blend as effortlessly on its own.

Pimples have long been the bane of teenage existence.  It happens when an oily substance called sebum clogs pores.

Okay, here we go! Without any further do, let’s introduce the product! So the product is…

Glam Works – Foaming Acne Wash

To start off, I bought this in Watson by an accident. Yes, by accident means hindi dapat ako bibili ng kahit anong facial product dahil medicine for cough naman talaga ang bibilhin ko that time. Before ako pumunta sa Watson, me and my brother talked about natural acne treatment and he mention the “Salicylic Acid” so when I saw this Glam Works – Foaming Acne Wash with Salicylic Acids Acne Treatment dinampot ko agad yun and GUESS WHAT? Nag iisa nalang ang product na yun doon. At first I really assumed na medyo may kamahalan ang product because of cool packaging and I was WRONG.

When I first purchased this product, I was like, eh, and I didn’t really expect this acne wash to be that great, and it’d be no difference from the previous cleansers that I bought before.

It was actually a lot better than I expected! The texture of the face cleanser was really thick and smooth! And even though it was one of the face cleansers that included salicylic acids (usually makes my skin really dry afterwards!) , my skin wasn’t extremely dry as far as I can remember! Not only that, my skin felt soooo smooth and refreshed! AND on top of all that, it smells REALLY good. (grapefruit scent)

You can buy this cleanser at pretty much any drugstore, but I actually got mine at Watson as I mention above for 99php, which isn’t too pricey for a face wash.

Did I mention how I’m obsessed with the color pink?! So yes! Another plus for the product because the packaging is in touch of pretty pink! WOOHOO!
